Dawsons Music

Established in 1899 by John Dawson, Dawsons Music is one of the longest serving music retailers in the UK. They stock a wide selection of products, including acoustic and electric guitars, amps & effects, pianos & keyboards, drums & percussion, PA & DJ equipment, orchestra instruments, sheet music books and the very latest in music technology across their 11 stores. Dawsons have had an online presence since 1998 and have always kept up with the very latest in eCommerce technologies. Dawsons approached Space 48 in 2011 for a brand new site built on the Magento Enterprise platform. They wanted a modern yet grungy feel to the website to appeal to their customers. The dark feel to the site really enhances the Dawsons logo and showcases the products to maximum effect.

What we did

• We are continually partaking in development work with Magento, this includes design elements such as banners too.
• We setup their dedicated hosting with Rackspace to ensure the site is stable and safe. We are continuing to manage their server setup on a regular basis.
