Whilst trading across several sites on Magento Community, Silentnight were struggling with performance and stability. New ownership and a focus on significant growth of the eCommerce channel dictated a re-build. A move to Magento Enterprise was necessary to deliver the enhanced functionality and experience needed to achieve their aggressive growth targets.

THE PROJECT

Working closely with the team at Silentnight to ensure a seamless transition, we took on the management of the existing sites which we first stabilised prior to upgrading the main store to Magento Enterprise.

The team engaged with technical partners at JD Edwards and Barclays Finance to deliver new integrations which allowed for improved process. We also worked closely with their CRO team to ensure that their historic learnings were incorporated into the new site designs.

THE RESULTS

  • 46% reduction in bounce rate
  • 8% increase in transactions
  • 16% increase in revenue

The site went live during December 2014 and since then we have seen an increase in conversions and site performance across the board.

We initiated a competitive pitch and the expertise and knowledge displayed by Space 48 made them a clear choice for such a business critical project. We have been delighted by the attention to detail and process displayed during the build process and are exceptionally pleased with the finished product!
