Despite extraordinary growth since launching in 2008, specialist online outdoor and combat clothing retailer Military 1st was still leaving money on the table. Product Feeds – Flexible data feed management module to generate feeds for Google Shopping, AdWords, Display Network and Criteo; with the flexibility to easily add more feeds as required.
Responsive Grid Framework with Responsive Images – Responsive blocks/grid system to allow Military 1st to build highly customised CMS pages using simple HTML.
Country-Specific Offering – Country-specific categories and range, with SEO-friendly country and language-specific URLs.
Bespoke UX Enrichment – Ensuring the website uses UX best practices without creating the wrong impression of the price point.
This series of smart performance wins saw:
A 17.8% reduction in page load speed across international storefronts – 7.8% higher than target.
This was joined by a reduction in Bounce Rate by 21.3% and an increase in website traffic by an average of 126.5% across all sites.
All important contributory factors to those headline 53.3% international conversion rate and 369% ROI (Extra Gross Revenue Generated / Project Cost) figures.
